TAXES! The ultimate dirty word! I hate this time of year! I always feel like the government's spies are waiting for me to make an error so they can come along and haul me off to prison! I am one of those people who do my taxes every year without fail. AND, I am an honest taxpayer. I don't try to get by with false deductions or inflated contributions but I still feel dirty when I push that button to send my returns to the IRS and the State of Oklahoma. Whether I pay or get my money back it is still a stresser! I like to remain "off the radar" if you know what I mean.
Well, the state and federal are filed. One more year under my belt of receipts and forms and deductions and payments!

I can't believe I am about to say this.......
I agree with something that Obama has said! Yes, I really said that I agree with something he said! I agree with a statement that our president said!!! I was watching Fox and Friends this morning when a story came up about Obama making a statement about Las Vegas. To summarize, he basically stated that if you don't have the money to pay your mortgage or save for your kids college, you don't need to be spending money on a Las Vegas vacation! I AGREE WITH HIM! And the city of Las Vegas is in an uproar and every representative of that state is in an uproar because he had the audacity to make a statement like that!
Wow...Doesn't it make perfect sense to you that if you are in a financial crisis, you would avoid ellaborate expenditures of any kind??? (Yes, my family is in a state of financial crisis. And yes, I made a trip to Las Vegas this past summer. So, let's clarify before you make a statement. My trip to Las Vegas was totally funded by my dear sweet friends who just wanted to take my mind off of our life troubles. It was one of the best weeks but I didn't have to spend anything.)
Back to the subject at hand. I have to side with him on this one. Las Vegas is a money sucking sin haven that is not now and never will be family friendly! I don't care what their director of tourism says! The subject of his statment, however, had nothing to do with Vegas itself. It has to do with thinking before you spend if you have had your hand out for help.
Now with that being said, wouldn't it be nice if he would take his own advice???? Wouldn't it be nice if he would think before HE spends out money after we have taken hand outs from such countries as China??? Wouldn't it be nice if he would stop people like Pelosi who spend outrageous amounts of American tax dollars on her lavish jet costs flying to and from Washington DC on a weekly basis? And wouldn't it be nice if he followed the founding father's guidelines of the Constitution and started working towards an administration that had a $0 balance at the end of their term?
I agree with what he said, I just hope he learns to take his own advice!

Some people!
I just need to vent! Isn't that what blogging is all about? An online diary for the world to see and a place for you to say the things that you wouldn't possibly say aloud???
Well, I must say, I have been working a contract job for the last 3 1/2 months for a local doctor. I have been doing his transcription work. I must say that I have never, in all my years of working, corporate world included, ever encountered a man (or a woman for that matter) who is such an egotistical, greedy, self-centered, womanizer, male chauvanist, narcissistic, self-proclaiming God's gift to this universe!!!!!! This man thinks he poops gold bricks!
I have given my notice at this place and we are now going on two weeks of not speaking to each other. Suites me just fine!!!!!!! Once I leave this place for the final time, I will not give a second thought to this man. However, I will always be in prayer for his patients. I feel so very sorry for them. I don't think they realize that if this man was given a choice of letting them live or getting paid, he would opt to get paid everytime. Obama ought to LOVE him if this healthcare madness passes!
I only have 8 more working days and only 2 more having to look at his face. I cannot wait to see the back of his head walk out the door for the last time!
Okay, I feel a little better.....not much. I won't feel good until I am driving away!!!!!!!
